CALLING LAB

CALLING LAB is a half-day workshop designed to help you discover, fine-tune, and/or recalibrate your unique calling by God! Maybe you are unsure of your calling? Maybe you’re in a new season of life and need to re-examine? Calling Lab is an essential tool to help you! 

This event is OPEN to all Momentum Church members and families FREE OF CHARGE! Our state ministry team from Indiana Ministries will be here at Momentum Church to lead us through this powerful and engaging workshop!

This will replace our JUNE 7 and 10 DISCIPLE MAKER SESSIONS. This workshop is open to all members and families of Momentum Church. You do not need to be in the Disciple-Maker Training. 

The idea of a believer’s calling has been discussed countless times over the centuries, especially during these last few decades. The question, “Who am I?” The postmodern worldview shapes much of our thinking and the Christian’s thoughts aren’t exempt.

We often return to this question: “What was I made to do?” This question is so pervasive that some call it the quarter-life crisis, the mid-life crisis, or the late-life crisis! Modern life inundates us with the “could do’s” and “should do’s” which friends, family, and sometimes strangers present seemingly innocently. To make things even more difficult, some of us create our own overwhelming agendas and obligations, causing us to feel pulled any which way. For others, dreaming is more an estranged practice, like trying to learn a foreign language. Fortunately, these questions and feelings of purpose aren’t outside God’s plan. In fact, these longings and considerations come to mind because they are a vestige of God’s original intention for humanity. We see this most clearly as we survey the pages of scripture and notice the repeating theme of calling throughout the entire Bible. Our task is to take these questions and understand them in light of God’s direction and plan. This is where the Calling Lab comes in.
