Church Leadership

Pastor Charlie Arms is originally from the Knoxville, Tennessee area.
He did not grow up in church, but came to faith just after High School. While involved in a college ministry at East Tennessee State University, Charlie felt a personal call to serve in church ministry as a pastor. At age 19, he was asked to fill in as a speaker at a local church near campus and then wound up serving as their pastor while he finished college. Charlie went on to seminary and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Charlie played football at ETSU and has been a life-long sports fan. He has also coached youth sports for many years, including several years in high school football. He is a Cowboys fan, but really loves NCAA football best. He still roots for his hometown Tennessee Volunteers. In his spare time, he enjoys movies, weightlifting, travel, and getting to know new people! Charlie is a closet Trekkie and loves Sci-Fi shows of all types!

Charlie’s wife, Rebecca, is a native Coloradoan, hailing from a small town just east of Denver (and yes, she is a Broncos fan!). She gave her life to Christ while attending a college ministry and served as a youth pastor at her home church in Colorado. Rebecca has a diverse background, including Master’s work in Geology, published articles in the field of Paleontology, a degree in Russian, a military background in Naval Intelligence, and much more! She loves to be creative in quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking, etc. She enjoys using her artistic skills in the church to create visual media for worship.

Charlie and Rebecca are proud parents to three grown  children in their 20’s. Charles, Amalia, and Carole are all living and working in the Region.
