Welcome to the new Motivating Minds Page. Our goal with Motivating Minds is to help students (and parents) with support for their educational needs. We invite people to message us to schedule a time for tutoring. Our tutors can assist with a wide range of subjects. This ministry will prioritize students who are least able to find and/or afford quality tutoring. Households earning under $80K in combined income will have priority in scheduling. We strive to help children and families with children within the church at the beginning of the school year. We would have liked to have extended the offer to the community however the summer is close to an end for the kids. Therefore, we are extending our hand to assist our immediate church family by supplying a need, a want, and asking for a given donation to supply the need or supplies.
I would like to ask if anyone has a child in school that has a need – school supplies ( requirements)
A want – something that they have worked toward however the means are not there to provide within a reasonable cost. Example (smelly pencil, certain bookbag, a certain shirt ( ie pirate gear).
A give- we are called to give and what better way than for our children/families to offer materials to others throughout the school year. Well have a collection of supplies that if it is needed or you want to give is readily received. This giving if in surplus could be the start of the need for next year to assist the community.
If there is a need or a want, please place it on a sticky and put into the box at the back table.

This group is dedicated to assisting those within the community with tutoring through many subjects. Specifically, mathematics and science.
